Caftan, probably from Morocco, second third of the 20th century,
embroidered brocade in gold thread and emerald green silk, decorated with pomegranate-shaped fleurons and cruciform fleurons set within a network of ogival arabesques. The pockets and hem are edged with black soutache; it fastens with buttons and has a twill lining (with a few loose threads).
Comes with a matching braided belt made of green silk and gold thread.
