The Calatrava Pilot Travel Time is equipped with an exclusive mechanism that simultaneously displays the time in two different time zones. It features two central hour hands – the solid one with luminous material displays local time, and the skeletonized white one displays time in the home time zone. When travelling, the local time can be set forwards or backwards in hourly increments by simply pressing one of the two correction buttons. While the time is being adjusted, the hour hand displaying local time is disconnected from the movement so that the accuracy of the minute and seconds hands is not compromised. The watch also has a dual day/night display for home time and local time and an analog date that refers to the local time zone. If only one time zone is relevant, the hour hands sit one on top of the other and move in complete synchronization.
