Calcite Hunan, China 5.58 x 4.49 x 2.70 inches (14.17 x 11.40 x 6.85 cm) This nearly pristine cluster is covered with "poker chip" style Calcite crystals and has an opaque white center and gemmy zoning around the edges. There is even a small cluster of iridescent Marcasite to one side of the specimen. However, the real showstopping quality of this specimen comes when it is illuminated under a Shortwave Ultraviolet light: the crystals glow with an electric red hue.
