Back when Mr. Vaux was collecting, the selection was a bit more restricted than it is today. At that time the "heart" shaped twins from Egremont stole the show. They still do ... even if the number of identified Calcite forms is now approaching infinity. Purchased from premier dealer of the era, George English, in 1892, there is original Vaux label and a custom acrylic base.
