Disciple of Ignasi Baixas and Josep Mongrell, he made his first individual exhibition in the Spanish Galleries of Barcelona in 1948. Later, he exhibited in several Barcelona and Zaragoza rooms. After a period of about 15 years, he did it again in 1971. From this date on, he exhibited regularly in Barcelona (Galería Bonanova) , Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Sabadell, Granollers and in several towns of the Costa Brava (Tossa, Blanes, Lloret) , places where he painted frequently, particularly in Tossa de Mar, where he spent long seasons. He also took part in several collective exhibitions. The marine themes of the Costa Brava, with its luminous beaches, old fishing boats and rugged orography, play a large part in his work, which also includes port themes, landscapes and urban views. He has cultivated oil painting, watercolour and ink drawing, always being faithful to the impressionist tradition of plein air. In the Museum de Tossa de Mar you can see one of his works.
