R.N.); Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.V.R., 2nd issue, fixed suspension (J.11544 R. S. Kenward L.S. H.M.S. Dartmouth.) polished, contact marks and edge bruising, therefore good fine (4) £100-£140---Robert Sydney Kenward was born on 24 July 1894, at Brighton, Sussex, and commenced his naval service on 13 March 1911, as a Boy Second Class in H.M.S. Impregnable. He was advanced to Able Seaman, H.M.S. King George V, on 2 March 1914, and was appointed Leading Seaman in H.M.S. Caesar on 20 January 1919.
