Candelabra, Pair of gilt metal mounted Sevres style porcelain candelabra with pictorial landscape panels - Bronze (gilt), Ceramic, Gilt, Porcelain - Second half 19th century

Each one with three sconces on scroll branches, blue baluster stems and domed bases on peg feet set with landscape panels. Intricate foliate designs made with pure gold paint with colour enamel dotted decor. In Sevres style and of stunning craftsmanship.

. Pictorial panels with miniature landscape drawings. Panel's backs bear underglaze artist’s signature (M. Tissant) .

. These candelabra are typical examples from the latter part of the 19th century, the 92 number on the back of the panels may represent the production year – 1892.
