Candelabra with 3 flames to climb - .800 silver - Italy - Mid 20th century

Elegant candelabrum with an unusual and rather modern line, made around the 1940s/50s by an unidentified silversmith (mark is not legible) . Oval base with a small Greek fret around the perimeter and a central part embossed with a leaf motif, from which depart the 3 fluted columns of different heights to which are assembled the smooth bobeches and the wax catcher plate. The central column is embellished with a small winged putto holding a fish! In very good overall condition, except for a few stains on the plates. Base dimensions: 13. 5 x 7. 5 cm, maximum total width 23 cm. Height of bobeches: 21. 5-18. 5-15. 5 cm Silver fineness hallmark: 800 within an oval outline.
