Candlestick, A Pair of early George III Period Candlesticks (2) - .925 silver - Ebenezer Coker, London - England - 1762-1763

A pair of small sized (H 12 cm) cast silver desk-or card game candlesticks by Ebenezer Coker, London 1762-63. They are all fully hallmarked to the undersides of the bases. In addition, the nozzles are also marked with the sterling lion. The square bases ( 11 x 11 cm) are also numbered 1-2, matching the same numbers on the square bobeches (5,5 x 5,5 cm) , nr 1 is hallmarked with the EC master hallmark, nr 2 is not hallmarked They are in generally in a very good condition with good sharp detail to the decoration. However a discrete old repair on the base of candlestick nr 1 has to be noticed. (detail 9th picture)
