Car part - Alfa Romeo - Coperchio punterie bialbero Alfa Romeo F12 - 1960-1970

I propose a very rare object that is now unobtainable, perhaps the only one available for sale today. Tappet cover of the legendary Alfa Romeo twin-cam engine with 1300(1290) cc engine capacity.
Specific to the van version of the 105 and 116 series, what makes it unique and indispensable for the perfect restoration of an F12 van is the positioning of the oil filler opening, positioned so as to be easy for the driver who will find the engine at interior of the passenger compartment. Obviously the general measurements are the same as the normal 101, 105, 116 series cover (therefore interchangeable) , giving the possibility of transforming any Alfa Romeo twin-cam engine into a specific F12 engine.
Used object (not a reproduction) from the period. With some chain marks inside, but in truly excellent overall condition.
Taken from an Italian navy minibus scrapped in 1989, it represents a beautiful object to display in the garage of the Alfa enthusiast or motor enthusiast in general, it is however suitable for assembly in full originality and safety on any 1. 3cc engine of the period which it goes from the end of the 60s to the end of the 70s.
