Walt Disney's Donald Duck Comic Strip Original Art Signed by Carl Barks (Walt Disney/King Features, 1967). Scrooge tries to go a week without his glasses, but soon discovers the consequences in this hilarious original comic from 1967. This amazing piece was created by a Disney artist and later brought to Disney Legend Carl Barks (1901 – 2000) with other Sunday and daily strips in one of the last signings he did before his passing in 2000. It almost immediately sold out upon its release, making it incredibly difficult to find. The four panel comic has been rendered expertly with color pencil, ink, and zipatone on 21'' x 6.25'' Bristol board. It is presented in a 25'' x 8.25'' mat window with a lovely mat that reads "Inspired by the father of Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Barks". The mat has been placed in a 31'' x 17'' Plexiglas frame.
