Walt Disney's Donald Duck Comic Strip Original Art Signed by Carl Barks (Walt Disney/King Features, 1975). This hilarious comic was originally released in 1975, but the original is now available! The strip was created by a Disney artist and signed by Disney Legend Carl Barks (1901 – 2000), following Scrooge as he takes up a job selling newspapers to make a quick buck. The piece was signed with other original comics shortly before his passing in 2000, and they sold out almost immediately upon release. The comic is rendered beautifully in color pencil, ink, and zipatone on Bristol board and signed by the artist in the lower right. The piece is presented on a 21'' x 6.5'' in a 23'' x 8.5'' mat window reading "Inspired by the father of Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Carl Barks" and placed in a 31'' x 17'' Plexiglas frame.
