Walt Disney's Donald Duck Comic Strip Original Art (Walt Disney/King Features, 1980). Donald once again tries to get his miserly Uncle Scrooge to give him a raise in this beautiful original comic strip from 1980. The comic was created by a Disney artist in color pencil, ink, and zipatone on 21'' x 6.25'' Bristol board, capturing the two in a comical screaming match. The piece was archived by Disney and sold starting in 2000, selling out almost immediately. This rare comic is presented in a giclée-printed mat with 23'' x 8.25'' window that celebrates Carl Barks' (1901 – 2000) and the timeless characters and world he created, reading "Inspired by the father of Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Carl Barks". The lot comes with a Disney Art Classics COA and has been placed in a 31'' x 17'' Plexiglas frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
