Walt Disney's Donald Duck Comic Strip Original Art Signed by Carl Barks (Walt Disney/King Features, 1982). Uncle Scrooge and Daisy have a nice meal together in this beautiful original comic strip from 1982, and the loveable cheapskate even pays the tab! This lovely comic was signed by the legendary "Good Duck Artist" Carl Barks (1901 – 2000) with both Sundays and dailies in one of his last signing sessions before he passed in 2000. The strip was initially created by a Disney comic artist and signed by Barks, rendered masterfully in color pencil, ink, and zipatone on 21'' x 6.25'' Bristol board. The piece is presented in a 25'' x 8.25'' mat window. The mat itself is a tribute to this iconic artist and reads, "Inspired by the father of Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Barks". The work has been placed in a 31'' x 17'' Plexiglas frame and comes with a Disney Art Classics COA. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
