[ translate ]

Walt Disney's Donald Duck Comic Strip Original Art Signed by Carl Barks (Walt Disney/King Features, 1985). Disney Legend Carl Barks (1901 – 2000) expanded the world of Duckberg for decades, taking Uncle Scrooge, Donald, and his nephews on incredible adventures. This lot features an original comic created by a Disney artist in 1985, signed by Barks in one of his last signings before his passing. It explores Donald's fatigue with commentary from Scrooge and Daisy. This comic was part of one of the last groups of comics to be signed by Barks before his passing, rendered in color pencil and ink on 14.5'' x 4.25'' Bristol board. It sold out nearly immediately after it came to market, so you don't want to miss the chance to add it to your collection. This rare piece is presented in a 16'' x 6.5'' mat window that reads "Inspired by the father of Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Carl Barks". The comic has been placed in a 22'' x 12'' Plexiglas frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear.
