This is a relatively uncommon version of the 80mm CF, casually known as the "New C". The difference with the CF: no EV lock and no F focal plane setting This lens was bundled exclusively with the 501c body as a "starter package".
By itself the lens is often difficult to find, even today it is usually only available paired with a complete 501c.

Think of it as a transition experiment on the way to the CFi. It's essentially the CFi in feel and craftsmanship, but with CF cosmetics and mainspring. The missing EV slot can be simulated by simply holding the two rings together as you move them. The F setting isn't really required on any body except the last, insanely expensive one, which essentially uses one "200" series with built-in AE. It works fine on the 2000F and FC with their focal plane shutter set to B, and normally on all other slats of course.

Short answer: you found a VERY nice 80mm Planar. Comes with original packaging.
