After the initial approach to photography, as a self-taught, through the "self-portrait", she devoted herself to greater experimentation, linked to the more unusual and uncontaminated aspects of Sicilian nature and developed a personal language that allows her to express her own vision of things through the camera. Her research focuses on women and on the communication between bodies and landscapes. The constant intent is to create dreamlike images suspended in time. His photographs have been published by magazines such as L'oeil de la Photographie and Vogue Italia, received awards including the Sony World Photography Awards, the Siena Photography Awards and the Prix del la Photographie. Carla Sutera Sardo has exhibited in London, Turin, Florence, Palermo, Zhengzhou, Gibellina, Paris and Slovenia.
