Folio album of fifty-two battles and one hundred portraits of the marshals, generals and most illustrious people of the time and the portrait of Napoleon I accompanied by a facsimile of his signature.
Collection of 60 plates said to be by Carle Vernet (1758-1836) , history painter, made from the paintings of this great master and the drawings of Swebach.
Paris, bookstore, rue Visconti – around 1850-60.

Full red canvas cardboard, worn red percaline.
Some stains and foxing on the engravings, some in good condition.
