Beautiful current frame. Watercolour on paper signed bottom left. Purchased at a Catawiki auction in 2017. Pushed by his family towards scientific studies, from 1883 he began to be interested in painting, especially in landscapes, and, guided by his friend E. Dalbono, he chose rural subjects, city parks and seashores in the surroundings of Naples, Rome and Paris, characterised by light and bright colours. Size without frame: 23 x 30 cm Size with frame: 38 x 43 cm Watercolour on paper depicting the park of Villa Borghese with characters, signed C. Brancaccio on bottom left. On the back it bears two old inscriptions in ink “Villa Borghese” and “10 scelini”. In good overall condition. Accurate and tracked shipping.
