Milan 1880 Size: 92 x 77 cm Carlo Lotti or Carlo Jotti (March 29th, 1826 - June 21st, 1905) He was born in Milan, where he lived after completing his artistic training at the Brera Academy. Many of his works have been exhibited in Milan, Turin, Venice and abroad in several exhibitions. He painted the snow-capped Alps and its forests, lakes and farmland; among his works there are: Monte Rosa; Madonna del Monte; Varese; Pescarenico (Lecco) ; and Aquedotto. He painted a lot on Lake Maggiore, including: Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori and Santa Caterina del Sasso.
