Mollino experimented with several variations of this design and he often used it as a chair for his models in his erotic photographs. The original design has never been found.

This work is from the edition of twelve produced by Galleria Colombari in 1994. Sold with a certificate of expertise from Galleria Colombari.

Condition Report: Backrest exhibits play to connection points. Edges of wood elements show assorted small impressions and small areas of wood filler. Left edge of seating bears a thin line of separation to an older repair, with two small joints to reverse to stabilize as needed. Small impressions and surface wear to seating from use over time. Brass surfaces show patina with minor wear to lower areas of each leg.
