on the occasion of the 'Caroni Ceremony' which took place near Cognac, Luca Gargano brought together 23 tasters, all absolute fans of this Trinidadian brand and its history. \r

It is from this unusual experience that this vintage gets its name 'Tasting Gang'! \r

By taking the photo on the box, Fredi Marcarini immortalized this gang of enthusiasts, making them, in turn, part of the Caroni legend! \r

This is a blend of 22 barrels, composed of 'light' and 'heavy' rums. Matured for 12 years (until 2008) on the island of Trinidad, this blend underwent a second aging phase of 11 additional years, this time carried out in British Guiana (Guyana) . \r

The share of angels reached 85%, a guarantee of a concentration of aromas pushed to its peak! \r
\r
Intense and particularly rich, this rum with fruity and floral flavors enriches the authentic signature of Caroni rums. \r

Limited edition of 5083 bottles. \r

An olfactory expression is abundant and complex: scents of orange and dried fig match the scent of heady flowers (lily, tuberose) and exotic fruit (mango, guava, persimmon, banana) . . . After aeration, the scents cane sugar, maple syrup and molasses generously unfold against a background of medicinal scents. \r

The unique signature of Caroni rums (hydrocarbon notes) is expressed here from the start. The persistent floral notes rub shoulders with those of fresh and generous fruitiness. Beautiful notes of cocoa and honey also make their way through. \r
