Indian carpet with colored field adorning with a central rosette of maroon tone in accordance with the areas reserved in the corners. The field stands out for the varied floral designs, between borders and tulips, with a predominance of red, blue and green tones. The central field is edged with a border of five bands plus the stone. The border is profusely decorated with vegetal motifs.
Agra, known as the city where the Taj Mahal is located, is a recognized center of carpet production since the sixteenth century. The quality due to its craftsmanship and a natural dyeing process have popularized the carpets of the city of Agra.
