A stunning altar cards trio - Silver, Wood, Copper - XVIII century Italy Silver-plated copper foil, embossed on wood. Large central altar card. Added mirror. Louis 16th Lombard artefact from the late 1700s/early 1800s What makes this set unique is the presence of all three pieces, as requested by the liturgy. The altar cards feature three mirrors, the central one is a very old mercury mirror, the others are from a later time. Each features some formulas and parts of the Missal that are art of the ordinary Mass. Most of these formulas must be recited by the priest bending over the altar; the altar cards therefore serve to recite the formulas, without moving the Missal to read them. I ensure an accurate packaging
