A Quaker farmer from Odessa, New Castle County, Delaware, Hunn was a Station master in the Delaware Underground Railroad. In 1848, Hunn and Wilmington Quaker, Thomas Garrett, were found guilty of aiding runaway slaves and both lost property and businesses.
