Cartier, 18K Gold Art Deco 6 Carat Diamond Choker

Cartier (French, founded 1847) 18k white gold, circa 1930. A white gold choker, the central mount set with a faceted chalcedony onyx and 26 fine European cut diamonds totaling approximately 3.9 carats, 2 French cut diamonds of approximately .5 carat and 28 melee cut diamonds approximately 1.40 carats. Clasp marked Cartier 170, all on original black moire ribbon choker.

Dimensions: 12 3/4 inches long; 32.4 cm long, the onyx measures 5.1mm X 13.5mm. Weight: 17.2 grams. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in overall good condition with some wear to the ribbon.

Provenance: From an estate in Virginia, descended through the family since new.
