Dial: the top mounted with a white enamel dial, Roman numerals, rose cut diamond-set hands, dial signed Cartier Paris Londres
Caliber: mechanical
Case: bell form, the case overlaid with translucent blue enamel over engine turning, mounted on a ring decorated with translucent green enamel over engine turning, further raised on a silver gilt base
Case number: base stamped 2396, and inside base stamped 63048

Condition Report:
Case: The enamel on the case is intact with the exception of one area of loss at 4 o'clock on the perimeter. Otherwise, in good condition. A beautiful and rare example of an object from the early 20th century. Case likely previously with a bell mechanism, no longer present. Gilt brass bezel possibly later added. Timepiece is now stationary and no longer functions as a bell push.

Dial: Faint hairlines in the dial.

Movement: The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
