Movement: movement back plate signed Cadran Brevete, 6816, .7931.
Case: quadrangular, the winder and setting pin concealed beneath hinged doors at the back, overall heightened by opaque black enamel geometric motif, mounted on a molded onyx base and the top set with an onyx panel, the shutters further decorated with opaque black enamel geometric motif, latch fitted with rose cut diamonds

Condition Report:
Case: The case is in overall good condition. Some minor surface scratches and light patina. Three corners with chips to the enamel. The lower right corner with signs of restoration to the enamel. Minor pinpoint size chips to the onyx around the base. Case maker mark 'V XII R'.

Dial: The dial is in overall very good condition.

Movement: The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
