Cartier Caresse d'Orchidees 1.00ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow/White Gold Necklace - This gorgeous necklace by Cartier made its debut as part of the designer's beautifully feminine Caresse d'Orchidees collection. The orchid was a motif first used by Cartier in 1925, and represents a delicate, feminine appeal. This particular design from the collection is now retired, and is incredibly hard to find. These retired designer pieces have proven to become the best quality investment pieces, as due to their rarity they are highly sought after by collectors around the globe. The necklace was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow and white gold and has an imaginative, multi-layered design with a pendant in the form of an orchid blossom. The bottom layer of the pendant is yellow gold and has diamonds interspersed throughout, and the top is white gold and is lined with pave set diamonds. The pendant contains approximately 1.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G diamonds, which are fiery white and create a luxurious aura. The necklace measures 15" in length and the pendant measures 1.25" x 1.25". The necklace is signed "Cartier" on the clasp along with the gold purity and unique serial number.
