The Cartier Ceinture design dates to 1927, one of the original designs by Louis Cartier. The model was first reissued in 1973/74 and the present example is one of these, with the beautifully decorated cal 78-1 movement. Manual wind 18K Cartier's from the 1970s are becoming seriously sought after and the Ceinture is one of the rarer models, with its attractive octagonal case and recessed crown design.
Condition: Dial is in excellent condition. Case is in excellent condition with scratches. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in excellent condition.
