Cartier Diamond Yellow Gold Poodle Clip Pin Brooch

A pair of iconic poodle pins created by Cartier in Italy in the 1950s. Definitely a conversational piece, cute and joyful, the pair is a great addition to your jewelry collection. The pins are made of 18 karat (stamped) yellow gold, the poodles' collar bows are encrusted with single cut diamonds and their eyes and noses are accented with black onyx. The poodles' heads are turning (see pictures 2 and 3). The "tall" poodle measures 2 x 1 inches (5.2 x 2.5 cm) and weighs 22.0 grams. The "short" poodle measures 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 inches (3.2 x 3.2 cm) and weighs 21.1 grams. The pins are stamped with Cartier maker's mark, country of manufacture, hallmark for 18karat gold and serial number.
