Cartier Emerald, ruby and diamond bracelet, 'Tutti Frutti', circa 1939

Designed as a vine pavé-set with brilliant- and circular-cut diamonds, enhanced with carved and cabochon rubies and emeralds, complemented by ruby and emerald beads drill-set with single-cut diamonds, accented by square diamonds, length approximately 170mm, signed Cartier London, numbered, maker's mark for Jacques Cartier, French import marks for platinum and gold.

Accompanied by Cartier certificate of authenticity no. GE2007-207, dated 12 November 2007, stating that the jewel was created by Cartier London in 1939.

Signed Cartier London, numbered 2986. Maker's mark for Jacques Cartier. French import mark and stamped PT 950 for platinum. French import mark for 18 carat gold. Emeralds stated to weigh a total of approximately 24.86 carats according to the Cartier certificate of authenticity, semitransparent to translucent, bluish green of light to medium saturation, heavily included, surface reaching inclusions, fissures, cavities and chips. Rubies semitransparent to translucent, purplish red of light to medium saturation, heavily included, surface reaching inclusions, cavities and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.00 - 4.00 carats, on average I-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and wear, small areas with evidence of soldering to the reverse. In good condition. Width approximately 20mm at the greatest point. Gross weight approximately 47 grams.
