Condition Report:
In good condition, with minor surface scratches and small areas of discoloration to the exterior and to the internal frame, commensurate with use and age. French assay marks for 18 karat gold. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.20 carat, are of decorative quality as is typical of rose-cut diamonds. The carved emeralds are medium light green, heavily included as is typical of carved stones. The rubies are deep deep slightly purplish red, heavily included. The mirror is watermarked and fogged, otherwise intact. Enamel with minor damage noticeable under 10x magnification, a couple areas of loss to the corners revealing gold ground beneath. Onyx is intact and in good condition. Please note there is one bruise to the compact just above the thumbpiece. Overall length with chain approximately 7 inches.
