Description: Genuine Art Deco era Cartier natural seed pearl & diamond 18k white gold choker necklace. This was from the estate of Eleanor Hoyt Dominick, as a gift from William Gayer Dominick of New Yorks banking firm, Dominick & Dominick. Eleanor Domincks daughter received this with a letter from her mother & photographs of her wearing it, as we have shown along with her wearing it on her wedding day (copies included). Properly signed & numbered by Cartier, it is made from (approx) 850 lustrous seed pearls with old cut diamonds embellishing the classic buckle design. If you have a larger neck, it would be very easy to elongate it. A genuine heirloom piece with timeless appeal!

Weight or Size of Gemstones: (Approx) Eight hundred fifty 1.5-2mm round pearls. Sixty eight 1-1.2mm round old single cut diamonds

Approx. Dimensions or Size of Item: Measures 13-1/2 inches & woven pearl band is 7/16 inch wide. Diamond buckle alone is 3/4 inch X 9/16 inch.

Condition Report: All stones / pearls are intact & look fine, seen only with 10x magnification it appears one small diamond may be a replacement. Gold shows very light surface wear & clasp works properly.
