Cartier Sapphire and diamond ring, 'Lobi', circa 2003

Of bombé design, pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and polished sapphires, size 52, signed Cartier, numbered, maker's mark for Jacques Cartier, partial French maker's mark, French assay mark and British hallmarks for gold, date letter for 2003.

Condition Report:
Signed Cartier, numbered 994446. Maker's mark for Jacques Cartier, partial French maker's mark. Inscribed 52 in reference to the ring size, however, due to the nature of the design, the ring fits loosely and may also fit ring sizes 54 and 55. French assay mark, British hallmarks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, assay office mark for London, date letter for 2003. Sapphires slightly violetish blue of strong saturation, mostly eye-clean, minor nicks to some examples. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.00 - 4.50 carats, on average F-G colour, VVS-VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with normal wear. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 23 grams.
