The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. The case with minor signs of surface wear, visible with the naked eye. Otherwise the watch is in very good overall condition.

Catalogue Note:
The Cartier Tank Á Vis reference 2554, launched in 2005 as part of the CPCP, features a wandering hours complication. This complication dates back to 1656 when it was first used on a clock designed for Pope Alexander XII by the Campani brothers in Rome. The present Cartier watch displays hours through an aperture and minutes with a traditional hand, performing a twist on the classic complication that was originally created to allow reading time in the dark with illuminated numerals.
