Cartier Turquoise and diamond parure, circa 1965

Comprising: a necklace of draperie design embellished with cabochon turquoises and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 400mm; a bracelet similarly set, length approximately 170mm; and a pair of ear clips; each signed Cartier Paris, numbered, maker's marks for Cartier, French assay marks for platinum and gold, two fitted cases and a case stamped Cartier.

Accompanied by a copy of a Cartier insurance valuation, dated 15 July 1965.

Each signed Cartier Paris, necklace partially numbered 04337, bracelet numbered 010707, ear clips numbered 03214. Maker's marks for Cartier Société Anonyme. French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold. Turquoises stated to weigh a total of 121.05 carats according to the Cartier insurance valuation, slightly greenish blue and greenish blue of medium strong saturation, light discolouration to some examples, matrix visible to the reverse of some examples, cavities and chips. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of 26.28 carats according to the Cartier insurance valuation, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount, chips to some examples. Small areas of tarnish to the metal only visible upon close inspection, light scratching consistent with age and normal wear. In good condition. Ear clips measuring approximately 30 x 30mm, width of bracelet approximately 25mm. Total gross weight approximately 206 grams. Necklace and bracelet each accompanied by a fitted case stamped CARTIER, ear clips accompanied by a case stamped CARTIER.
