Carved Alabaster Nativity Scene, 18th Century
Possibly American, with engraved text, "March 1st 1784" and at the reverse, "G. Washington (then illegible.....) and also the date "March 1784". The piece also bears a 19th century tag for the Antiques dealer Thomas Bullock.
Dimensions: 6 1/2" x 4 3/4", 3/4" thick.
