Carved Carousel Horse

A turn of the century American carousel horse, from the Marcus Charles Illions factory of Coney Island c. 1910. Carved wooden construction, inner row jumper with multicolor painted design, carved saddle and breast collar, and inset jeweled detail. Restored by Tony Orlando, on a modern Oak base with Brass stand. Modern paint with some wear and shrinkage. Approximately 47 x 12 x 65" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
