Title: Carved Owl in a Tree
Provenance: Carved owls are one of our favorite folk art things and we just got this wonderful example. Very creatively displayed in a very old chunk of tree, this sleepy eyed little fellow is beautifully carved. He/she stands 9" t. x 4" w. x 3" d. and the whole display is 27" t. x 13" w. x 10" d. It weighs about 12 pounds. It has a piece of plywood for a base. The owl is removable so he could be mounted on a smaller base if desired.
