Carved Quartz Cockatoo

A carved quarts 'cockatoo' with metal legs and a fluorite stand. The plume and tongue of the bird are carved from rose quartz, the eyes are made from glass.

Dimensions: 6 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches wide; 15.2 cm tall X 9.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Part of the plume is chipped; miniscule chips throughout with natural seams and inclusions.. The legs have been glued to the stand.

Provenance: From a collection in Virginia.
