A slender amulet bead with an elongated profile, finely polished from natural veined agate. It features horizontal veins, with alternating ultra-fine lines of ivory, chestnut and dark brown running around its body; it is perforated along its central axis and displays a soft patina. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
