100 Pipers is known for being the first blended of the Chivas brothers. Its special recognition is due to the fact that it is made with a blend of about 25-30 malt whiskies, all from a careful selection. Its creators, Chivas Brothers, sold the brand to the current Seagrams, known for its gins.
