The lock engraved with scrollwork and maker name, the chequered figured stock fitted with sling swivel, the spur trigger guard with pineapple finial bearing the gun serial number, the butt plate tang bearing calibre designation .451. The oak case with brass corners, lined in green and containing cleaning rod, round ball mould, Sykes brass powder flask, short starter, powder funnel, nipple key, wad or patch punch, rosewood box of percussion caps, and cap tin.
