Cased Images, c.1850s-1860s MIXED AMBROTYPES & DAGUERREOTYPES PORTRAITS OF WOMEN, c.1850s -60s. Comprised of four matted quarter plates; three hand-tinted Ambrotypes and one Daguerreotype. One of the wall hanging Ambros with a photographer's label for Mr White of Blackpool (c.1810-1880s) affixed verso. Seven hand-tinted, sixth plate Ambrotypes, one missing case and another in a case for Mr. George Ruff (1826-1903) of Brighton, together with two sixth plate daguerreotypes, one, of an older woman missing half case, but in an early matt Three hand-tinted, ninth plate ambrotype portraits of women, one holding a cased image in her hand, each in complete red Morroco cases.
