Cased Royal commemmorative silver goblet
A silver royal commemorative wine goblet, the cup with gilt interior and applied Prince of Wales feathers to the front within engraved surround 'The Marriage of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer 29th July 1981', above a knopped stem to a spread foot. Hallmarked A T Cannon Ltd., Birmingham 1981, numbered 551. Height 13.2cm, weight 6.14ozt (191g). In fitted box.
Condition Report:
- Goblet appears in good overall condition
- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks, and scratches, and a little tarnishing
- With some minor surface and edge nicks
- A little blackening and dried polish residues to some areas and crevices, especially around the applied feathers
- Hallmarks clear and legible with some minor rubbing
- Box appears in fairly good overall condition; the exterior with some minor scuffs/losses around the corners and edges
