fourth quarter 19th century, London, including a fork and knife hallmarked 1873-1875, by George W. Adams (Chawner & Co.) and a spoon hallmarked 1897-1898 by Wakely & Wheeler, in the traditional "Hanoverian" pattern, the knife with sterling blade and filled handle, all engraved with arabesques and presented in an emerald green velvet- and satin-lined leather case, the interior lid gilt-stamped with the retailer's mark of West & Son, Dublin.

Condition Report: **A very attractive set with no condition issues noted. Case has some scuffs and minor losses on the exterior, but the interior is quite clean; lid slightly warped and the catch does not engage. Each piece fully hallmarked; maker's mark on the spoon rubbed.
