Beautiful box with five silver metal plates, chiselled and stamped, with scenes on each of the 5 faces. 19th century The plate on the lid depicts a hunting scene in a forest with a woman on a horse. On the front plate, a scene with fantastic animals abducting children and men and women trying to stop them. The side plates depict a man hunting a fantastic animal. The back side depicts the rescued characters in foliage, a woman breast-feeding her child, and a man standing guard with his bow. Interior in blue velvet. Punch depicting a lion on the underside of the box. Some signs of wear due to age. The key is missing. Dimensions: 29 x 16 cm
