Casket - Oak - mid 18th century
Dutch chest, ca. 1750, in good restored condition. The oak wood has obtained a beautiful patina over the years. Minimum restorations: beneath the lid are two later wooden supports of oak as reinforcements, the hinges have been replaced. The lock is original. The key was made later. The bottom right has an updated piece on the leg. On the inside still the so called documents box. The sides have panels. Typical Dutch chest, also the profiling is recognisable. Overijssel, Gelderland, Utrecht.
