Casket - Satinwood, Silver - Cairo ware - Egypt - 19th century

Egyptian chest made of bronze with silver layer. Rectangular format with Kufic script all over its silver perimeter. Interior with fruity wood marquetry and mother of pearl. It's difficult to date it, it could be from the 1800s or beginning of the 1900s. It is a heirloom from my Aunt and she used to always tell me to be careful with it because it was very valuable. There is a similar one at the Cairo Museum, used to keep the Koran, but it is very old, from 1200. I saw it in the Egypt pavillion in an exhibition. The clasp is missing in the picture. It is now back on it. In mint condition. It is a unique and very beautiful item. Excellent as a luxurious decoration. It has been appraised by an expert. Let's see if there's any luck.
